Favorite Day Snack Review: Mini White Fudge Cookies, Peanut Butter Trail Mixes & Bold Barbecue Mix at Target

Today, Kevin and I are reviewing four favorite snacks from Favorite Day: Mini White Fudge Dipped Sandwich Cookies, Peanut Butter S'mores Trail Mix, Peanut Butter Monster Trail Mix, and Bold Barbecue Trail Mix. We found all these products at Target, though they may vary in availability across locations.

Mini White Fudge Dipped Sandwich Cookies

These cookies are priced at $2.99 for a 6-serving container. They are visually appealing with a festive sprinkle topping, resembling little snowman hats. The texture is pleasantly crunchy yet not overly hard, making them enjoyable. Flavor-wise, they are intensely sweet, almost like eating a cupcake, and very satisfying on their own. Despite the suggestion to mix them with caramel corn and pretzels, they stand out enough solo.

Peanut Butter S'mores Trail Mix

This mix costs $4.49 for a 9 oz bag. It features a combination of peanuts, white confection-coated marshmallows, Reese's Pieces, peanut butter-filled pretzel nuggets, milk chocolate peanut butter cups, graham cookie squares, and peanut butter flavor drops. While the variety sounds promising, the standout elements are the soft peanut butter cups and the crunchy Reese's Pieces. However, the overall peanut butter flavor could be more pronounced.

Peanut Butter Monster Trail Mix

Priced similarly at $4.49 for a 14 oz bag, this mix intensifies the peanut butter theme with peanuts, peanut butter chips, raisins, peanut butter M&M's, peanut butter pretzel balls, and mini peanut butter cups. Despite its extensive peanut butter lineup, the flavor profile feels somewhat subdued, with the M&M's and peanut butter cups providing the most enjoyable bites.

Bold Barbecue Trail Mix

For $4.49, this 14 oz mix includes barbecue flavored almonds, honey-roasted barbecue peanuts, corn nuggets, garlic bread sticks, and cheese-flavored corn sticks. The mix offers a smoky, mildly spicy flavor with a hint of heat, particularly noticeable in the barbecue peanuts. However, the inclusion of garlic bread sticks doesn't add much, and the mix could benefit from sesame sticks instead.

In conclusion, while each snack offers unique flavors and textures, our favorites were the Mini White Fudge Dipped Sandwich Cookies for their sweetness and crunch, and the Bold Barbecue Trail Mix for its distinctive barbecue flavor. For those preferring a peanut butter fix, the Peanut Butter S'mores Trail Mix and Peanut Butter Monster Trail Mix offer varied experiences, with the former being more chocolatey and the latter showcasing a wider range of peanut butter-infused items.
