Today, Kevin and I are reviewing some Hammond's candy bars. We picked up the Fudge Brownie, Banana Crunch, and Lemon Meringue varieties from Jungle Jim's International Market in Ohio for $3.49 each. We've tried many Hammond's products before, including their popcorn, so we're excited to see how these candy bars compare. Fudge Brownie Candy Bar The Fudge Brownie candy bar is a milk chocolate bar with brownie filling, weighing 2.25 oz (64g). Each bar contains two servings, with half a bar (32g) being 160 calories. This candy bar, made in Denver, Colorado, has a golden wrapper reminiscent of a golden ticket. Upon tasting, the middle section of the bar was unexpectedly chewy, almost taffy-like. While the flavor was acceptable, it lacked the rich, luxurious chocolate taste we were hoping for. The brownie filling didn't stand out and tasted similar to the rest of the bar, making it a bit of a disappointment. Overall, it felt like just another milk chocolat
