Milka Ice Cream Mini Cones and Chocolate Bars

Today, Kevin and I are sampling some Milka products. We have the Milka Mini Vanilla and Chocolate cones, which look like tiny ice cream cones, and the Milka Bars in vanilla and chocolate swirl, as well as praline chocolate. We purchased these items from Jungle Jim's International Market: the Mini Cones were $6.69, and the Bars were $7.79 each.

Milka Mini Cones

First, we tried the Mini Cones. They are incredibly cute, with Alpine milk chocolate, mini vanilla, and chocolate. At only 73 calories each, they're tiny. The cone is filled only at the top, making it feel a bit cheap since the filling doesn't extend into the cone.

Kevin found the cone chewy rather than crisp, which was disappointing. The Alpine milk chocolate was sweet and enjoyable, but the cone's texture detracted from the experience. Overall, the Minis are cute but not worth the price due to the unsatisfactory cone.

Milka Chocolate Bars

Next, we sampled the Milka Bars. Each bar is a blend of vanilla and chocolate swirl, covered in Alpine milk chocolate, and contains 235 calories. The chocolate is rich, sweet, and delicious, overshadowing the ice cream.

The Praline Chocolate bar features hazelnut and chocolate ice cream, with each bar at 245 calories. The hazelnut flavor is prominent and delightful, with the chocolate ice cream providing a rich, almost brownie-like taste. However, the hazelnut flavor isn't as strong when eating the chocolate alone.

Verdict

We wouldn't buy the Mini Cones again unless they were crunchy, as the chewy texture ruins the experience. If the cones were crunchy, our opinion might change. The Milka Bars, especially the Praline Chocolate, are worth trying for their rich and delicious flavors. If you get the chance to buy Milka products, especially the chocolate bars, do it. They're available in stores like Walmart and World Market, where you can find a wide selection.

In conclusion, while the Mini Cones were a letdown, the Milka Bars impressed us with their rich chocolate and delightful hazelnut flavors. If you find these products in your country, let us know how they compare in terms of texture and price.
