Review of Maltesers Bunny Chocolates

Today, Kevin and I will be trying Maltesers Bunny chocolates in both milk and white chocolate varieties. Previously, we've reviewed regular Maltesers, comparing them to Whoppers, which are similar to malted milk balls familiar to Americans. We've also reviewed the Maltesers Reindeer during Christmas. It's interesting to note that Maltesers Bunnies were once called "MaltEasters," possibly to avoid religious associations, which many stores prefer to avoid by using more neutral, spring-themed names. We purchased the Maltesers Bunnies at Jungle Jim's International Market in Cincinnati, Ohio, where they had an extensive selection of British Easter eggs. The single bunny was priced at $1.39, and the bag was $2.49. The milk chocolate bunny contains 157 calories, while the white chocolate bunny has 64 calories per serving of 11.6 grams.
