Styling the Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Peterson Low: A Detailed Guide

Welcome to my latest styling video featuring the Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Peterson Low, a recent addition to my sneaker collection. In this video, I'll be showcasing different outfits, discussing the models, price points, and sizing options. Stick around for all the details!

First Outfit:

Top:

- Vintage Russell Athletic Marlins T-shirt Jersey – I thrifted this piece for about $5. Its vibrant color and perfect fit make it a standout item in my wardrobe.

Shorts:

- Real Tree Camo Shorts from Mint Crew – These shorts feature a double knee design. I opted for a size up to achieve a baggier look, which I find very stylish and comfortable. I highly recommend these shorts for their quality and design.

Socks:

- Tube Socks from Target – These are my go-to socks. They are a bit long, so I scrunch them up for a better fit. They are durable and comfortable, making them a staple in my wardrobe.

Second Outfit:

Top:

- Flake Studios White Blank T-Shirt – This shirt is set to drop soon and is a versatile piece that pairs well with many outfits.

Pants:

- Mint Crew Caro in Wide-Legged Tan – These pants are wide-legged and have a nice stacking effect when worn with chunkier shoes.

Hat:

- Feature Blue Trucker Hat – Adds a pop of color to the outfit and complements the neutral tones.

Shoes:

- Chunky Chuck 70s – A chunkier version of the classic Chuck 70s, these shoes have a clean black and cream colorway with white laces, adding a touch of sophistication to the outfit.

Third Outfit:

Top:

- Stüssy Button-Up with White Stitching – This purple top is perfect for a more formal look. The white stitching adds a nice contrast.

Pants:

- Amazon Wrangler Rancher Pants – These pleated pants are a favorite of mine. I recommend going up two sizes for a better fit and comfort.

Shoes:

- Maison Mihara Peterson Low – These shoes are great for a night out or a dinner with friends. They elevate the classic Chuck 70 design, adding unique elements that make them stand out.

Fourth Outfit:

Top:

- Needles Flannel – This new addition to my collection is a versatile piece that I love.

Shorts:

- Locust and Wild Honey Carpenter Shorts – These shorts are my new favorite. They fit true to size and are highly recommended for their comfort and style.

Shoes:

- Maison Mihara Peterson Low – These shoes look great with a variety of outfits. For more styling inspiration, check out my Instagram where I frequently post photos wearing them.

Fifth Outfit:
Top:

- Flake Studios White Blank – A staple piece for fall and winter that pairs well with various layers.

Hoodie:

- Sun Faded Hoodie from 1213 LA – Although from last year's collection and no longer available, this zip-up hoodie remains one of my favorites for its unique faded look and comfort.

Pants:

- Minimal Twill Cargo Pants – These pants have a nice flare at the bottom, adding a trendy touch to the outfit.

Shoes:

- Maison Mihara Peterson Low – These shoes are versatile and can be worn with both baggy pants and shorts, making them a great addition to any wardrobe.

Overview of the Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Peterson Low:

The Maison Mihara Yasuhiro brand is renowned for its innovative renditions of classic sneakers. The Peterson Low and The Hank models are notable for their unique designs and added layers. The Peterson Low is my favorite, offering a stylish twist on the traditional Converse sneaker.

Sizing:

I recommend sizing down for the best fit. For reference, I typically wear a 9.5 or 10, and a size 42 in these fits perfectly. If you have any questions about sizing, feel free to leave a comment below.

Pricing:

Retail prices for these sneakers range from $300 to $400, depending on where you purchase them. They are available on platforms like GOAT in various colorways.

Comfort:

While not the most comfortable for extended wear, adding an extra insole (such as from a basketball shoe) can improve comfort. Despite this, the stylish look of the Peterson Low makes them worth it for shorter outings.

Availability:

The brand hasn’t released new pairs in a while, but they are occasionally available on resale platforms. Hopefully, a restock will happen soon.
