Better Goods Cake Pops Review: Walmart Finds in Florida

Today, Kevin and I are reviewing Better Goods cake pops, a Walmart brand. We bought these cake pops for $5.67 each from the frozen section at Walmart. We have three flavors to try: raspberry, chocolate, and birthday cake.

First, we sampled the birthday cake pops. Made with soft vanilla cake and a chocolatey candied coating, these treats are free from artificial colors and flavors. Each pop is 150 calories. Despite the enticing description, we found the flavor lacking that classic birthday cake taste. The texture was also quite pasty.

Next, we moved on to the chocolate cake pops. Also 150 calories each, these pops have a soft chocolate cake center with a chocolatey candied coating. We found these to be much better than the birthday cake flavor, with a rich chocolate taste that was more satisfying.

Finally, we tried the raspberry cake pops, which are slightly lower in calories at 140 per pop. These feature soft raspberry cake with a chocolatey candy coating. We both agreed that this flavor was the best. The raspberry taste was sweet and candy-like, without any harsh or tart notes.

Overall, the Better Goods cake pops are a better choice compared to other brands we've tried from Walmart, Kroger, and Target. The raspberry and chocolate flavors stood out as favorites, while the birthday cake flavor didn't impress us as much.
