Buc-ee’s Kettle Chips: Bold ‘N Blended, Sweet Southern BBQ & Original Review

Today, Kevin and I are sampling a variety of kettle-cooked chips from Bies. We have three flavors to review: Original, Sweet Southern Barbecue, and Bold and Blended. Each 2-ounce (56g) bag cost $1.79 at Bies. Notably, these chips are gluten-free, and free from artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives.  General Impressions Bies Kettle Cooked Chips are crafted in Lake Jackson, Texas. The brand promises a gourmet experience with each bag, emphasizing the care and effort put into making every chip perfectly crisp and flavorful. However, our experience varied across the different flavors. Original Flavor - Calories: 300 per 2 oz bag - Taste: The original flavor was somewhat disappointing. The chips lacked sufficient salt and had an uneven texture. Some chips were hard and crunchy, but the overall texture resembled that of sweet potato chips – not quite the traditional crunch expected from kettle-cooked chips.  - Verdict: Not recommended.
