Crumble Cookies Review: Memorial Day Special

Today, Kevin and I are sampling a delightful selection from Crumble Cookies. Our menu includes the Cookies and Cream Milkshake featuring mini Oreo, the Cookie Butter Lava featuring Lotus Biscoff, the Cowboy Cookie, the Chocolate Sea Salt Toffee, and the Banana Split. Additionally, we’ll be trying the Cookie Dough Bits. Happy Memorial Day! This day honors and mourns the U.S. military personnel who died while serving the country. We deeply appreciate and thank those who serve or have served.

Cookie Prices

- Four-pack: $15.99
- Single cookie: $4.49
- Cookie Dough Bits: $6.99 for an 8 oz bag

Cookies and Cream Milkshake Featuring Mini Oreo

This cookie is inspired by a cookies and cream milkshake. It features Oreo cookie pieces, vanilla buttercream, and a mini Oreo on top. The frosting is thick, creamy, and gritty with a pleasant sugary texture. The Oreo flavor is present but not overwhelming, allowing the vanilla buttercream to shine. This cookie is absolutely delicious and hard to beat.

Cookie Butter Lava Featuring Lotus Biscoff

Hoping for the Biscoff to take center stage, this cookie is stuffed and drizzled with Lotus Biscoff cookie butter. It appears almost underbaked, which adds to its soft, gooey texture. The Biscoff flavor is prominent and enjoyable. The cookie's edge is perfectly baked, while the inside remains soft. It’s not as sweet as the Oreo cookie, but Biscoff typically isn't overly sweet.

Cowboy Cookie

This cinnamon oatmeal cookie contains semisweet chocolate drops, sweetened shredded coconut, and toasted pecans. The cinnamon flavor is very strong and can be a bit overwhelming, masking the taste of the coconut and chocolate. The texture is chunky and the cookie is well-baked, but the heavy-handed use of cinnamon might not appeal to everyone.

Cookie Dough Bits

These cookie dough bits come with semisweet chocolate chips. They are priced higher than similar products from other brands, like Favorite Day or Ben & Jerry’s. Despite the price, they have a buttery flavor and a gritty, sugary texture that is quite enjoyable. While they are delicious, the high cost might deter some from purchasing them again.

 Chocolate Sea Salt Toffee

This new cookie features chocolate toffee and milk chocolate chips with a dash of sea salt. The combination of chocolate and toffee gives it a slightly scorched flavor. Although the texture is nice and chunky, the taste isn't as sweet and might not be a favorite for everyone.

Banana Split

This new offering is a vanilla sugar cookie with banana and strawberry mousse, chocolate ganache drizzle, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. The dominant flavor is banana, reminiscent of banana pudding. The base cookie is a bit dry and doesn’t contribute much to the overall taste. The strawberry flavor is barely noticeable, and the chocolate drizzle doesn’t stand out.

Final Thoughts

- Least sweet cookies: Chocolate Sea Salt Toffee and Cowboy Cookie.
- Most sweet cookie: Cookies and Cream Milkshake.
- Top picks: Cookies and Cream Milkshake, Cookie Butter Lava, and Cookie Dough Bits.

We hope this review helps you decide which cookies to try this week. Please share your thoughts and let us know if your experiences matched ours. Happy cookie tasting!
