Today, Kevin and I are trying three items from Trader Joe's: Herbs de Provence Triangles, Everything But the Bagel Seasoned Bite-Sized Crackers, and Mini Almost Everything Bagel Sandwich Crackers. The prices are $2.49, $2.99, and $3.49, respectively.
First up, the Herbs de Provence Triangles. These 2.11 oz puff pastry crackers are priced at $2.49. With rosemary, savory, onion, and garlic, these crackers promise a tantalizingly buttery flavor. The box contains two servings, each with 150 calories, making the whole box 300 calories. The ingredients are simple: wheat flour, butter, seasoning blend (rosemary, savory, thyme, dried onion, garlic powder), modified corn starch, salt, black pepper, and milk protein.
The crackers have a strong rosemary flavor and a delightful puff pastry texture with layers. Although Kevin is not a fan of rosemary, I enjoyed the seasoning. These are exactly what I expected and loved the texture, although Kevin would prefer different flavors like cheese or ranch.
Next, we tried the Everything But the Bagel Seasoned Bite-Sized Crackers. Priced at $2.99 for a 10 oz box, these vegan crackers feature garlic, onion, poppy, caraway, and sesame seeds. The box has nine servings, with 14 crackers (30g) per serving at 130 calories.
The caraway seeds are overpowering, which Kevin and I both found off-putting. While these crackers could pair well with cheese to balance the strong caraway flavor, they are too intense on their own.
Finally, we sampled the Mini Almost Everything Bagel Sandwich Crackers with cream cheese filling. These cost $3.49 and come in a seven-serving box, with each serving of eight crackers (29g) totaling 150 calories. Unlike the bite-sized crackers, these don't have a strong caraway seed presence. The texture is similar to a cookie, and they reminded us of Captain's Wafers with a slightly sour cream cheese filling.
These sandwich crackers are my favorite out of the three items. They offer a nice blend of onion and garlic flavor without being overpowering. They are similar to other snack crackers but with a unique Trader Joe's twist.
Overall, the Mini Almost Everything Bagel Sandwich Crackers are our top pick, while the Herbs de Provence Triangles and Everything But the Bagel Seasoned Bite-Sized Crackers are less preferred due to their strong flavors. We hope you enjoyed this review and thanks for watching!
