Today, Kevin and I are excited to try the limited edition Great Value Cotton Candy Trail Mix. We picked it up for $7.98 for a 12 oz (340 g) bag. While trail mix isn’t usually cheap, this price seems pretty standard. The packaging boasts a variety of ingredients: peanuts, popping candy clusters, shortbread chips, yogurt-flavored raisins, vanilla cream-flavored almonds, and strawberry-flavored confection drops. But where is the cotton candy flavor? It appears to come from the popping candy, which doesn’t quite sound like actual cotton candy.
