Twizzlers Pink Lemonade Filled Twists & Toxic Waste Slime Licker Strawberry Filled Milk Chocolate

Today, Kevin and I are trying two new products: the Toxic Waste Slime Liquor Brand Strawberry Sour Filled Milk Chocolate Bar and Twizzlers Filled Twists in Pink Lemonade flavor. We purchased the Twizzlers for $3.44 at Walmart, while the candy bar was $2.97, also at Walmart.

If the name "Toxic Waste Slime Liquor" sounds familiar, you might recall we found their Blue Raspberry bar at Five Below. While Five Below stocked the spot for this particular strawberry bar, they didn’t have it in stock when we visited. However, we discovered it at Walmart in the candy bar section at the front of the store.

The strawberry sour filled milk chocolate bar has 120 calories per half bar. The filling, which looks strikingly red, is quite sour. Upon tasting, the tartness is evident but not overwhelmingly sour. However, the combination of sour strawberry filling with milk chocolate did not appeal to us at all. The overall flavor left an unpleasant, almost vomit-like aftertaste. While children might find it intriguing due to its novelty, we wouldn't recommend it.

Moving on to the Twizzlers Filled Twists in Pink Lemonade flavor, these are described as a low-fat snack with eight servings per bag, at 140 calories for two pieces. Made by Hershey, these Twizzlers are much softer than the traditional variety. The flavor is predominantly lemon with a hint of strawberry, despite the packaging prominently featuring strawberries.

These filled Twizzlers are a delightful treat, especially after the disappointing chocolate bar. They offer a refreshing lemony flavor, making them enjoyable to eat. Unlike the regular Twizzlers, which can be quite tough, these are soft and easy to chew.

In summary, the Toxic Waste Slime Liquor Brand Strawberry Sour Filled Milk Chocolate Bar did not meet our expectations due to its unpleasant flavor combination. On the other hand, the Twizzlers Filled Twists in Pink Lemonade flavor were a hit, offering a soft texture and refreshing taste. If you're looking for a new treat, we highly recommend the Twizzlers.
