Hey friends! I've seen some questions about how to use Cash App with Apple Pay, so in this article, I'm going to show you exactly how to do that. Let's get started.
Step 1: Get a Cash App Debit Card
To use Cash App with Apple Pay, you need a Cash App debit card. If you don't have one yet, follow these steps:
- Open Cash App.
- Click on the second tab, which shows card information.
- If you don't have a card yet, follow the prompts to order one.
Step 2: Open the Wallet App
Once you have your Cash App card, it's time to add it to Apple Pay. Here's how:
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
- If you're using the Wallet app for the first time, accept the terms and conditions.
- Click the plus sign (+) to add a new card.
- Choose "Debit or Credit Card."
- Scan the back of your Cash App card, which has all the necessary information.
Step 3: Enter Card Details
After scanning the card, confirm the following details:
- Ensure the name on the card is correct (it should be your name).
- Verify the expiration date.
- Enter the CVV (security code) from the back of the Cash App card.
Step 4: Accept Terms and Conditions
You'll then see the Cash App terms and conditions for using it with Apple Pay. Review them and click "Agree."
Step 5: Verify Your Card
You can verify your card either through a text message or via the Cash App. I recommend using the text message option. Here's a tip:
- If verification through the Cash App isn't working, delete the card from Apple Pay and try again with the text message option. This method worked for me when I faced issues.
Step 6: Set Up for Payments
Once your card is verified, it's set up and ready for use. You can set it as your default card if you prefer, or simply select it when making payments.
